Besides their daily operational responsibilities at the plant, the engineering team of First Solar, a leading US-based company specializing in solar module manufacturing, also requires proficient English communication skills to regularly exchange and report on their work with management teams from the headquarters.
However, the rotating shift schedules at the plant each month posed a challenging puzzle for the HR department in organizing training to balance two critical factors: ensuring flexibility for trainees to accumulate sufficient study hours for progress and cost-effectiveness in investment.
